Fear of Lizards!!

This post may be beneficial for those who are afraid of lizards. To be honest, I am one of them. I have a significant phobia of lizards, even though I know they do not bite. The mere sight of them in my house causes me to panic. A phobia is an irrational fear of something that poses little to no actual danger. Understanding the phobia is the first step to overcoming it. It's important to know that phobias are common, and having one does not mean you're crazy. Additionally, it's important to note that phobias are treatable. By following these steps, you can overcome your anxiety and fear:

Tell yourself to calm down when you see a lizard. Start by getting into a room with a lizard and not panicking. Remind yourself that lizards do not pose a threat to you.

It can take time, but you need to convince yourself that the lizard is not a threat. Your brain has been conditioned to fear lizards, and now it needs to be re-trained to relax.

Staring at a picture of a lizard for a few seconds may also help.

It's important to remember that overcoming a phobia takes time and patience, but with the right mindset and approach, it is possible to overcome it.

Do let me know what you do to overcome this fear or such fears?
